Triangular castle dating back to the thirteenth or fourteenth century, it stands at the end of the road coming from Cascia, presenting the characters of a postal station.
The most ancient part, at the left side of the bridge on the Corno river, is leans against the mountain, so that some buildings, today ruined, are soldered to the rock face. Buildings along the provincial road and around Saint Peter Church are more recent
